A new report claims that all three of the upcoming iPhone models to be released in 2017 will feature wireless charging technology.

All three of the new iPhone models expected to be released this year will feature wireless charging, as noted in a report from KGI analyst Ming Chi Kuo acquired by MacRumors.

It was previously believed that just the upcoming iPhone 8 would utilise wireless charging, but according to the report this will not be the case.

The report also states that wireless charging will cause the iPhone 8 to heat up a little, and that Apple is considering adding a new 3D Touch module with additional graphite sheet lamination to prevent the highly-anticipated device from overheating and malfunctioning.
