Fixture fate to be known next week

THE FAI confirmed that the UEFA draw to determine the European 2012 qualifier fixtures for Groups B, F, G and H will take place in Tel Aviv on Thursday.

The fixtures meeting for the Republic of Ireland’s Group B took place in Moscow on Tuesday but broke up without agreement on a schedule.

Russia, Slovakia, Macedonia, Armenia and Andorra are the other countries in the section along with Giovanni Trapattoni’s side.
