Dolphin put a spanner in the works

DOLPHIN coach Steve Ford knew his side were out of the running for the Ulster Bank League title but knew they could have a say in the destination of the silverware in Division 1A.

They showed little respect to St Mary’s College at Musgrave Park on Saturday and for Ford, it was a performance long overdue.

Barry Keeshan put the Cork side 6-0 up at the break with two penalties, before he added another penalty and drop goal in the second-half. Mark Sexton’s try and Ray Crotty’s late penalty were not enough to stop St Mary’s sliding off the top.
