LEINSTER coach Michael Cheika has agreed to become Stade Francais’ new director of rugby at the end of the season.
Cheika, who guided Leinster to their first Heineken Cup crown last season, has signed a three-year deal with the French Top 14 club, replacing Jacques Delmas.
Centre Brian O’Driscoll hailed the Australian’s impact during his five seasons in Dublin.
"I wish him the best, provided we never meet Stade in Europe," said the Ireland skipper. "He has a great work ethic and passion for the game. He’s done wonders for us as a province in giving us a great structure. I’m sure his new life in Paris will suit him down to the ground."
