DERRY’S Eoin Bradley faces a 48-week ban following an investigation into his alleged assault on referee in a club match last weekend.
Disciplinary chiefs proposed the ban in the wake of an alleged confrontation with Declan O’Connor after Glenullin’s defeat to Ballinascreen in the senior football championship.
Bradley was notified of his suspension on Wednesday night and is considering whether to appeal.
The ban rules him out of action with club and county until July 27 2011 and it also looks set to rob him of a place in Anthony Tohill’s International Rules squad.
Older brother Paddy, who announced his inter-county retirement this year, received a four-weeks ban for verbal abuse of the same official.
