Premier boost as Lar on road to recovery

Lar Corbett is winning his battle to be fit for Tipperary’s Munster semi-final against Limerick on June 9 — but Kilkenny are remaining surprisingly tight-lipped about their injury list ahead of facing Offaly on the same day.

After fracturing a couple of ribs against Kilkenny in the Division 1 final earlier this month, Corbett is currently running but has not resumed full contact training.

However, Tipperary sources say the chances of the 2010 hurler of the year being fit for the game in the Gaelic Grounds are good. A decision on his availability won’t be made until the week of the match.
