A PLANNED meeting between the Clare hurlers and manager Mike McNamara did not go ahead last night due to the unavailability of a number of people.
The meeting was to discuss the disharmony that exists between the senior squad and the county manager. At a meeting on Sunday, the players voted overwhelmingly against the Scariff native staying on.
The matter is set to be discussed at a meeting of the Clare county board on Tuesday in Ennis.
Meanwhile, Limerick senior hurlers are set to hold crisis talks this weekend after Justin McCarthy axed a number of players from his panel.
