The auctioneers selling Valley Lodge get it bang to rights in the first line of their property sales description: “looking for something different?” they ask, and the pictures deliver on the expectation already built up.

This lodge is rustic, in tooth and nail. Stone on the outside, and stone and brick and wood, and even more wood and stone and brick inside, it’s a sort of over-the-top handmade home all fashioned out of the above mentioned natural materials. Functional decor includes the use of tree trucks as supports.
