Restaurant in ideal trading place

A restaurant directly across the road from the bustling CUH and maternity hospitals in Cork’s western suburbs is up to rent.
Being offered to lease is No 7/8 High Street, a mixed use redevelopment in Wilton, adjacent to the Wilton Shopping Centre, 100 yards from the CUH’s main entry point. The hospital campus employs around 3,500, and has close to 1,000 beds, with many tens of thousands of out-patients visiting annually.Letting agent Sean Healy of DTZ Sherry FitzGerald notes that “the location is obviously superb with huge potential for a lunch trade from CUH, as well the surrounding area, in addition to a substantial evening trade looking for alternatives to the existing Wilton/Bishopstown offerings.”
Those mature suburbs number many thousands of houses, but without the choice seen in areas like Douglas, and the key location also sees it adjacent to the Wilton Shopping Centre, and equidistant to the third-level campuses CIT and UCC, with lots of rented accommodation in the vicinty.
The unit traded for years as Paddy Garibaldi’s, and re-branded under several managements and most recently has been operated as the Blue Ginger Chinese restaurant.
