British star Jessie J crowned the queen of Irish radio

British star Jessie J was queen of Irish radio in 2011, with her single Price Tag played more than any other song throughout the year.

A judge from the UK TV show, The Voice, beat competition from Maroon 5, who came second with Moves Like Jagger and Adele who came third with Rolling in the Deep.

Adele was one of two singers to land two songs in the top 10 list, with Someone Like You placing eighth. She is joined by Bruno Mars, whose songs The Lazy Song and Grenade placed fifth and sixth respectively.

Only three Irish artists made it into the top 30 most played chart. The Script came in seventh with If Ever You Come Back, followed by Royseven with We Should be Lovers at number 11 and Bressie in at 21 with Can’t Stay Young Forever.
