Pic 3: Art meets pottery with the Scribble jar by Adam Frew. Adam’s work centres on the potter’s wheel. Traditional eastern forms inspire him, but he says spontaneity as a means of personal expression is key to his work. He works with coloured clays using a base colour and drawing into the clay’s darker colour as the piece breaks through.
