Toy Story 3

This worthy sequel from the Pixar stable kept up the standards of its predecessors in another animated classic that’ll appeal to adults and children alike.
Sport
The fourth round of the FA Cup features Luton Town v Millwall (ESPN, ko 12.45pm) and
Oldham v Everton (UTV, ko 6pm), while
Spanish soccer includes Granada v Barcelona (Sky Sports 1, ko 7pm). In rugby, it’s Scarlets v Munster (RTÉ Two, ko 6.30pm), while the All-Ireland football club semi-finals on TG4 feature St Brigid’s Roscommon v Crossmaglen (throw-in 2pm) and Dr Crokes Killarney v Ballymun Kickhams (throw-in 4pm).
SUNDAY The Voice of Ireland
RTÉ One, 6.30pm
Each of the four coaches has filled their teams, so tonight’s episode features the first of the battles where selected members of each team sing the same song. The coaches then enlist some music biz types to help them choose who should go through to the live concerts in the next stage of the show.
Sport
There’s more action in the FA Cup today, with Chelsea v Brentford (UTV, ko 12pm) in a fourth round replay following their recent 2-2 draw; while the fifth round clash of Manchester City v Leeds United (ESPN, ko 2pm) also has some giant-killing potential. In Spain, it’s Real Madrid v Rayo Vallecano (Sky Sports 1, ko 8pm).
MONDAY Life On The Inside
RTÉ One, 9.35pm
First episode of a two-part documentary on the Irish prison system. Filmed over a year at Wheatfield and Shelton Abbey prisons, it follows the lives of six particular prisoners in these institutions. We hear about the boredom, the violence, how they spend Christmas, etc.
Dallas
TV3, 10pm
The second series of the revamped tale of Texan oil barons. While the battle between
Christopher and John Ross is the main plotline in this opening episode, all eyes will be on JR, the character played by the late Larry Hagman. JR appears in the first six episodes, and does get a funeral during the series.
TUESDAY Revenge
RTÉ Two, 9.50pm
Victoria gets a surprise visit from her mother and is plunged into memories of her tumultuous childhood. Meanwhile, Emily sets off on her first mission under Takeda’s tutelage.
Utopia
Channel 4, 10pm
It’s been quite a ride over the past few weeks, and now the comic book conspiracy thriller reaches its final episode. Can our heroes find the elusive Mr Rabbit and stop the evil plans of The Network? Underpinned by an excellent edgy soundtrack, there has also been a strong Irish presence in the show through Stephen Rea and Fiona O’Shaughnessy.
WEDNESDAY Meet The Izzards
BBC One, 9pm
The first of a two-part series in which comedian Eddie Izzard uses his DNA to trace his history through the millennia and across the globe. Episode one takes him along his maternal ancestral line through southern Africa, Turkey and Scandinavia before he ends up in Britain. Needless to say, Izzard’s journey mirrors the expansion of humanity from its origins in Africa, so in ways is all our story. Part two tomorrow.

AC Milan v Barcelona pits two of the giants of European football against each other in the first round of a two-leg tie.
THURSDAY Rónán ar an Camino
TG4, 10pm
The Camino de Santiago is probably the most famous walk in Europe, and over the next few weeks Rónán Mac Aodha Bhuí will travel the ancient pilgrim route. Along the way, he’ll chat to a motley crew of walkers from Ireland and beyond who have all sorts of reasons for their trek to the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela in Galicia.

Kevin Kilbane joins Trevor Welch in the Anfield commentary box for the second leg of Liverpool v Zenit St Petersburg (3e, ko 8.05pm). Earlier in the day, it’s Lyon v
Tottenham Hotspur (ITV4, ko 6pm).
FRIDAY Big Wave Bootcamp
RTÉ Two, 5pm
Week three of the Irish teenagers’ trip to Hawaii and their stamina is seriously tested on the continuous breaks of the South Shore. Away from the water, some of the boys get hot and bothered in a Bikram yoga session that’s supposed to increase their strength and flexibility.
The Graham Norton Show
BBC One, 11.05pm
Saoirse Ronan is on the publicity circuit for her new film The Host, a sci-fi horror based on the novel by Stephenie ‘Twilight’ Meyer, so joins Norton on tonight’s show. Alongside the 18-year-old Irish actress will be Hollywood heavyweights Richard Gere and John Malkovich.
