THREE people were arrested and two were still being held last night after a triple Garda swoop led to an estimated €1.25 million worth of cocaine being seized by officers.
In searches in north and west Dublin on Thursday, gardaí uncovered the drugs believed to be linked to a criminal gang.
A kilo of crack cocaine with an estimated street value of €40,000 was found in a house in Finglas, while a kilo of cocaine with a street value of €70,000 was uncovered in a "stop and search" of a car in Blanchardstown. The third search revealed a stash of cocaine worth more than €1.1m.
