Lovely 92-acre holding

A 92-acre drystock and tillage farm, in a neat block with over a mile of road frontage, is a new market entrant in Co Tipperary.

The land, just outside the town boundary of Cahir, is under tillage, and is ‘a lovely farm, and dead level’, according to selling agent, Christy Buckley. Under spring corn in all of its four divisions, the farm is ideal for tillage, but can just as easily revert to grass, according to the agent, who says it’s also suitable for dry stock. The land is on the old Cahir to Clonmel road, with fast access to the M8.

The property is for sale by private treaty, and is already under offer at €1.12m, says Buckley, and will be put on the market as soon as the bids reach €1.2m — a bullish €13,000 per acre. Home
