THE financial spread betting company WorldSpreads has confirmed reports that its management is trying to buy out its Irish division.
In a statement the company said it had received an approach "from certain members of its management" but there could be no certainty that any offer will be made.
Reports have suggested that Brian O’Neill, chief operations officer and a co-founder of the group, is the main figure behind the approach. He runs the Dublin office, where about 20 people are employed.
