Green enterprise ‘jobs potential’

THOUSANDS of jobs could be created out of a partnership between Ireland’s first Green Economic Zone and the Global Cleantech Cluster Association (GCCA).

An tSlí Ghlas — The Green Way — has been accepted as the Irish representative of the GCCA, a non-profit association that creates conduits for companies to benefit from international cleantech cluster collaboration. Cleantech companies use new technology and related business models to provide resource efficient solutions to global challenges.

An tSlí Ghlas combines existing businesses, academic institutions and local authorities in a partnership along an economic corridor in north Dublin, and intends to expand nationally and cross-border.
