Grant Thornton to offer business advice to growing yoghurt company

Dairy goods manufacturer Killowen Yoghurts has won a year of free consultation, strategy and support from business advisory firm Grant Thornton.

The Wexford-based firm participated in a recent survey carried out by Grant Thornton and Good Food Ireland.

Grant Thornton’s food and beverage team will advise Killowen on business strategy, tax and guidance on supports to maximise efficiency and profitability.

Grant Thornton Ireland’s head of food and beverages Ciara Jackson said that Killowen “ has an exciting indigenous product that we feel can grow their business if it is harnessed correctly.”

Pauline Dunne of Killowen Yogurts said the company is still very much in a growth phase, even though it has grown its brand to bring it in line with the quality of the product itself.

Good Food Ireland managing director Margaret Jeffares is “confident that Killowen Yogurts will greatly benefit from this expert advice and assistance”.
