Protests have been mounted outside of Leinster House this afternoon, ahead of what's expected to be one of the toughest Budgets in the history of the State.
Unions including IMPACT and the CPSU have said they have brought their message to the front door of Government, to highlight their anger and frustration over expected pay cuts.
There are indications that lower paid civil servants will be hit with a 4% pay cut today.
