Amnesty International Ireland has said cutting funding to public services in Wednesday's Budget will further erode human rights here.
It is urging the Government to live up to its commitments under the international treaty on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, signed in 1989.
The group said spending cuts in areas like health and education will lead to long-term problems.
