The Irish Congress of Trade Unions is due to deliver their verdict on Budget 2010 later today.
Individual unions have already heavily criticised the move to impose public-sector pay cuts of up to 20%.
However, the Institute of Chartered Accountants estimates that private-sector workers have been hit with average cuts of between 5% and 8%.
