Opposition parties have tonight accused the Finance Minister of pulling a political stroke with the announcement of a 15% ministerial pay cut in today's Budget.
Brian Lenihan has admitted that the 15% actually includes the 10% cut which ministers pledged earlier in the year - with 5% tacked on today.
The Labour leader Eamon Gilmore says the minister is trying to fool people into thinking ministers took a large cut in pay today.
