Police in Thailand are investigating two explosions in Bangkok.
The cause of the blasts was not immediately clear and it was not known if anyone had been killed.
A picture posted on Twitter purportedly showed an injured man laying on the pavement outside a school, his legs apparently blown off in one of the explosions.
Police Colonel Sittiphab Baiprasert told The Associated Press that the blasts happened about 100 yards apart on Sukhumvit 71, a busy multi-lane street which is home to businesses and apartment blocks.
Local news reports said traffic on the road had been halted while authorities investigate.
