Quake hits Bosnian town

A 4.6 magnitude earthquake hit the central Bosnian town of Zenica early this morning, causing minor damage but no injuries.

The quake, whose epicentre was some 50 kilometers northwest of Sarajevo, struck at 1.12 am local time.

It caused minor damage to some buildings in Zenica, where several chimneys collapsed.

Local media said many local residents spent the night on the streets fearing another stronger quake.Home
