98,000 passengers affected as Lufthansa pilots continue strike action

Germany's largest airline has cancelled 890 flights today as pilots continue to strike in a row over wages.

Lufthansa says around 98,000 passengers on short and long-haul journeys are affected.

The Cockpit union has been staging walkouts with 24 hours' notice since last week.

Eight flights into and out of Dublin airport are among those affected.
