 Much of Ireland will have spells of sunshine through the morning but with showers developing in places, most widely over Connacht and Munster. Through this afternoon, showers will develop widely over all areas of Ireland, these heavy and thundery in places. Further showers this evening. A moderate south-westerly wind developing.

Tonight, showers will become replaced by more prolonged outbreaks of rain spreading from the south-west. However, the rain may not reach Ulster until late in the night. Freshening winds, becoming south-easterly.

Overnight rain will soon clear eastwards to leave a mixed day with a lot of cloud and some showers. However, there will be occasional sunny intervals too. Some of the showers could be heavy and slow-moving, particularly over western and southern areas of Ireland. Showers only slowly easing in the evening. Moderate winds, variable in direction.

Cloudy at times for many with further showers developing through the day, these perhaps most prolonged and heavy over southern areas. A few sunny intervals too. Gentle winds, variable in direction.
