The band of rain will continue to push south westwards through the night giving some heavy and prolonged spells across Munster and parts of southern Connacht. Drier across Ulster but remaining cloudy and breezy here. Elsewhere generally light northerly winds.

Overnight rain will clear south west Munster through the morning. However, more rain will push into Leinster, eastern Munster and eastern Ulster giving some heavy spells at times. Drier in the west with some bright spells developing for Connacht. Moderate northerly winds.

There will be rain in the east at first, but this will clear to leave scattered showers. It will be dry and bright elsewhere. A fresh northerly wind.
