Showers will continue overnight in south-eastern Ireland. Other areas will see showers for a time but should become drier during the night. A mild night.

Cloud and showers or longer spells will affect much of the country, particularly after midday and some of these heavy and thundery.

Rain mainly in the north at the start of the day will clear, but showers will move in from the west and will affect most areas. The showers may become heavy and thundery.

A band of showery rain will move eastwards across the country during the day. It should become dry in the west later in the day and in all areas during the evening. Rather breezy.
