A rather breezy day is expected. A band of rain along with cloudy skies is expected to affect mainly Leinster and Connacht before it is forecast to progress north across Ulster later on. It will be largely dry elsewhere with some sunny intervals. Fresh westerly winds.

 Heavy rain for a time across Connacht, Leinster and Ulster during the first part of the night. Mostly dry elsewhere. After midnight winds will increase and rain will affect all areas, particularly heavy across Ulster with possible snow. Gale force north-westerly winds.

Ireland tomorrow

 Heavy rain and any snow will soon clear Ulster to allow for sunny spells and blustery showers, wintry at times. Connacht will also see wintry showers. Elsewhere looks to be largely dry with sunny spells but windy. Gale force north-westerly winds easing through the day.

A largely bright start, especially in the east. However, it will cloud over during the morning with rain pushing in from the west into the afternoon and evening. Moderate south-westerly winds.

A cloudy and unsettled morning with outbreaks of rain. Sunny spells and showers in the afternoon. Brisk westerly winds.

It looks largely cloudy with outbreaks of rain pushing in from the west during the day before eventually clearing eastern areas overnight. Moderate southerly winds.
