The late evening will see further sunshine, as skies continue to clear. Thereafter, it will be largely dry with clear periods, although coastal areas may see some fog. Showery rain may move into the far west of Munster later tonight. Moderate south-easterly winds.

Much of Ireland will be dry with sunny periods during the morning, although a band of thundery rain will continue to move east across Munster and Connacht. Western Leinster and Ulster may see the odd shower late in the day. Moderate south-easterly winds. Warm again.

Outbreaks of heavy rain, with some embedded thunderstorms, will push north across the country during the morning and afternoon. Drier conditions will then largely develop, although cloud and rain will tend to linger for Ulster. Moderate to fresh westerly winds. Fresher.
