Apple announces iPhone X

Apple finally unveiled the tenth anniversary iPhone X yesterday during a special event at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park, Cupertino, California.

The first iPhone model to feature an OLED screen, the iPhone X features a bezel-less 5.8-inch display with a resolution of 2436 x 1125, a dual-sensor 12 MP rear camera, a 7 MP front camera and the company’s Face ID facial recognition software.

The iPhone X will also support Animojis, Apple’s new animated emoji feature that mimics users’ facial movements for personalised emojis.

Pre-orders for the iPhone X start on October 27 and the device starts shipping on November 3.
