Animal Farm game announced

A video game adaption of George Orwell’s classic novel Animal Farm has been announced.

Described on the official website as an adventure-tycoon game, Animal Farm has been fully authorised by George Orwell’s estate and will be created by an independent team of developers who have previously worked on a wide range of games including the Fable series, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture and Witcher 3.

‘The Animal Farm game will be an adventure-tycoon, placing the player in the Manor Farm as one of the animals just before the revolution, and will follow their journey through the ups and downs of Animalism. The gameplay will combine story choices and the running of the farm into a consistent narrative, giving players a chance to experience the consequences of their decisions first hand.’
