Waterford sack Jimmy McGeough

Waterford United have today sacked manager Jimmy McGeough.

McGeough was manager as the Blues won promotion as champions from the eircom League First Division last year.

In their first year back in the Premier Division, McGeough guided the side to sixth place.

Waterford ended the season with a 1-0 defeat at home to Derry City.
