Rare Reds start for Wisdom

Defender Andre Wisdom will make his first Premier League appearance since November 17 as Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers makes two changes for the visit of Sunderland.

Wisdom replaces the injured Jose Enrique while Lucas Leiva comes in for Joe Allen in midfield.

Sunderland have made just one change with Danny Rose coming in for the injured John O’Shea.

Liverpool: Reina, Wisdom, Skrtel, Agger, Johnson, Gerrard, Lucas, Henderson, Downing, Suarez, Sterling.

Subs: Jones, Sahin, Carragher, Allen, Fernandez Saez, Shelvey, Robinson.

Sunderland: Mignolet, Gardner, Cuellar, Kilgallon, Rose, Johnson, Larsson, Colback, McClean, Sessegnon, Fletcher.

Subs: Westwood, Bardsley, Campbell, Wickham, McFadden, Vaughan, Bramble.
