Paul Dunne continues good form to lead Alfred Dunhill Links Championship

Paul Dunne has made an excellent start at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in Scotland.

The newly crowned British Masters champion sits on top of the leaderboard on five under par after 12 holes at Saint Andrews.

The Wicklow man has carded three birdies and an eagle on the ninth hole, to lie two shots clear of the field.

Dubliner Gavin Moynihan holds a share of second place on three under, Shane Lowry is one under.

Graeme McDowell and Padraig Harrington are on level par, while a bogey on the 11th hole has dropped Rory McIlroy back to two over.
