Murphy trains in Wexford despite losing coach

European Championship gold medallist Grainne Murphy has resumed training in Wexford, according to reports this morning.

The 19-year-old's coach was let go by Swim Ireland as part of restructuring which also saw their training group at Limerick cut.

According to the Irish Independent, Murphy is now training at a 25-metre pool at New Ross.

It was thought that Murphy may train abroad, but that has not yet happened.
