Munster coach Tony McGahan will leave the province at the end of the season.

Munster coach Tony McGahan will leave the province at the end of the season.

According to reports McGahan has been offered a coaching role with the Australian set up and informed his players and staff in recent days that he will be departing.

During his time in charge Munster won last year's Rabo direct Pro12 and this season reached the Heineken Cup quarter-finals after winning all six pool games.

Antony Foley , Eddie O'Sullivan and Wayne Smith are amongst those being linked to the vacancy.
