Mathews wants to maintain good form against former club

Drogheda United v Cork City

Drogheda United have hit a bit of form in recent weeks and will be hoping to continue in the same vein when they take on Cork City at United Park tonight, kick-off 7.45pm.

Robbie Farrell is still out injured for United and will miss another month at least.

Gavin Whelan picked up a knock against Shamrock Rovers and is a concern for boss Alan Mathews.

Robert Mezeckis is still ruled out for Cork with an Achilles injury, while Davin O'Neill also misses out with an ankle problem.

Shane Duggan is returning from injury and may feature at some stage in tonight's trip to Drogheda.

Joe Gamble is another concern for City as he is struggling to be fit to face former Cork boss Alan Mathews' side.
