All-Ireland SHC finalists Kilkenny and Galway have been pencilled in to play each other in the opening round of the 2013 Allianz Hurling League campaign.

The provisional fixtures for next year's league have been released with the Division 1A action getting underway on Saturday, February 23 as Munster rivals Cork and Tipperary clash under floodlights.
