Friedel to start against Lyon

Veteran Tottenham goalkeeper Brad Friedel will play against Lyon tomorrow, denying Hugo Lloris another start against his former club in the Europa League.

Striker Jermain Defoe (ankle) has not travelled with the squad, but is expected to return to training next week.

Sandro, Younes Kaboul, and Tom Huddlestone (all knee) all remain out.
