Woman killed in Louth road accident

A 25-year-old woman has been killed in a car crash in Co Louth.

It happened when she lost control of the vehicle she was driving and crashed in Dunmahon in Dundalk at about 11pm last night.

She was alone in the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road is closed for a technical examination of the scene and gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
