Woman dies in Cork fire

A 36-year-old woman has died in a house fire in Co Cork overnight.

The victim died after the fire broke out around 1.30am at her house in Pembroke Crescent, in Passage West.

Her body remains at scene and the Office of the State Pathologist have been notified.

The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination.
