Woman airlifted to Beaumont after fall at Killiney quarry

A 33 year old woman has been airlifted by helicopter to Beaumont Hospital this afternoon after falling at the quarry in Killiney in Dublin.

It is believed the woman is a foreign national who was walking with two others.

She has suspected head and spinal injuries.

The Dun Laoghaire Coastguard team and Rescue 116 from Dublin arrived at the scene at about 2pm this afternoon, less then 20 minutes after being alerted.
