Vomiting bug hits Cork University Hospital

Visiting restrictions have been put in place at Cork University Hospital due to an outbreak of the vomiting bug.
The restrictions also affect the Maternity hospital.
Visiting times have been restricted to one hour between 7.30pm and 8.30pm this evening with only one visitor allowed per patient.
Patients are also being asked not to attend the hospital if they have been affected by vomiting and/or diarrhoea in the last 72 hours.
