Three men due in court after Carlow and Laois raids

Three men are due in court in Carlow this afternoon, in connection with a major policing operation targeting criminal gangs.

It follows the arrest of seven men during raids on properties in Carlow and Laois on Wednesday.

One man appeared before Carlow District Court on Thursday evening, charged in relation to the operation, while three others were released without charge.

Gardaí say a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
