Teenage boy killed on Cork farm

Gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority are investigating following the death of a 15-year-old boy on a farm in Cork yesterday evening.

The accident happened at around half six on a farm at Church Cross, near Skibereen in West Cork.

The boy - who was one of four children - was fatally injured when he became trapped between a digger and another piece of plant equipment.

A post mortem will be carried out on his remains today.Home
