NAMA extends Deferred Payment initiative

NAMA has extended its Deferred Payment initiative to an additional 180 houses in 12 counties.

The scheme seeks to allay the fears of the first-time buyer by insuring them against the loss of 20% of the home's value for five years.

The houses range in size from two to five-bedroom with prices starting from 100,000 in counties including Galway, Dublin, Cork and Sligo.

Bank of Ireland, AIB through its subsidiary EBS and Permanent TSB are participating in the initiative.
