Irish language campaign aim to raise €10m

A campaign to raise €10m for a national Irish language cultural centre in Dublin city starts today.

Music by Irish singer Mairead Ní Mhaonaigh will kick off an event being held outside Dublin's GPO at 12.30pm this afternoon.

The project, known as Tionscadal sé deag, is being launched in commemoration of Ireland's Easter 1916 Rising Efforts.
