Driver dies during motor rally in Waterford

Waterford Regional Hospital.

A man in his 30s has been killed during the Raven's Rock Rally in Waterford.

The victim is believed to have been the driver of one of the cars involved in the race.

His co-driver, who was injured, has been been taken to Waterford Regional Hospital.

The accident occured at around 1.30pm this afternoon, during stage four of the event.

Organisers are due to make a statement this evening.
