Girls aloud singer collapses

British pop star Sarah Harding collapsed with a kidney infection on Saturday - just minutes after appearing on live TV.

The 24-year-old Girls Aloud beauty had just performed Biology with her bandmates on British ITV1 chart show CD:UK when she fell to the ground in agony.

But despite her dramatic episode, the blonde singer did not require hospital treatment.

A source near the band says: "She was in a lot of pain before she collapsed. The other girls were really worried.

"She has been told to rest."
