Cork gardaí make major cannabis seizure

More than €100,000 worth of cannabis has been seized in north Cork, it has emerged.

The discovery was made after gardaí stopped a car in the Doneraile area at around 11pm last night.

Two men, aged 58 and 47 respectively, are currently being questioned at Mallow garda station.

Gardai conducted follow up searches at a number of houses in the Mallow area late last night and early this morning.

A number of vehicles and a quantity of cash were seized in those searches.
